I do want to make it possible to add new units, spells, research, culture traits, masteries, etc. It's been rather slow due to focus on the above issues, but I'll resume as time allows. Modding support is something I try to improve incrementally. (Localization stuff is also going to be pursued further, but it's sort of separate from the above, and not really part of what you're asking about).

WIZARDS AND WARLORDS CLASSIC PC MOD
Originally posted by Professional:When I think about what would be possible with a "simple" but extensive mod support (especially since you only need stats and pictures for the units - without 3D models), it almost tears me apart to buy it: theoretically new masteries, new events, new units, new races, new spells. The commitment of the developer (patches, answers in the forum) is already absolutely outstanding. I hope the game will continue to get the attention it deserves so that potential buyers still have the information they need to be fully convinced. I'm a bit skeptical, because I don't know how captivating the game will be in the long run, if new features will be developed, how the mod-support will work out (will you be able to add your own units with stats and pictures to the game), and what the game has to offer at all (how many spells, how many different units). I like the fact that you seem to have some influence (spell) on the battle, but you don't have to move a lot of units individually. I like the "narrative" fighting system, where every round is shown what happened, because I quickly lose my interest in tactical fights (like in Deity Empires) or pure spectator fights (Conquest of Elysium, Dominions5). So far I just can't decide whether to buy it or not. I hope the DasTactic video series will continue.
